The Jasmin Company was established on the Mediterranean
coast of Turkey by Hüsnü Kargı in 1939,
in a dream land named Alanya. Following the formation of the Turkish

Turkish Government Gives Lift To Tourism and Real Estate
With the Turkish government continuing to work with the
International Monetary Fund (IMF) to complete its £10 billion
three-year economic stability programme, four major international
companies are on the verge of agreeing a deal to build an oil refinery,
providing a further boost for the country's economy.
Moreover, the government's continuing promotion of Turkish beachside
resorts and inland villages as ideal holiday retreats has contributed
to a large increase in overseas visitors to the country. In July of
this year Turkey received the International Blue Flag award for its
beaches and marinas putting it in the category of "one of the best in
the world."
Alanya - Gazipasa Airport Lease Approved

Havalimanlari Holding announced that State Airports Operations Board of
Directors approved the lease of the new Alanya - Gazipaşa airport for 25 years.
Operating lease commitment between the state-run department for
aviation and the worldwide operating turkish company TAV for the
airport in Gazipasa has now been signed.
The airport, which
was built 10 years ago and vacant since this time will finally be put
into operation. Rumours had been growing, since the announcment
on August 31. 2007 when the tender was won by TAV, about whether the
the airport would actually be opened or not, as the 30 day approval
period had passed with no further update. Today with the approval now
in place, a report is being put together about the planned rollout of
the airport opening and procedures.
'Our goal is the
international air traffic' - Ceo of TAV, Dr. M. Sani Sener told the
press, 'the goal for Gazipasa was the international air traffic. We
developed a 5-years-strategic plan for a so called "boutique airport".
Those project we created also in other coutries are successful so we
can say this strategy will be effective also for Alanya-Gazipasa.' The
airport has a capacity right now for 500 000 travellers with a terminal
of 2 144 m2 and a parking capacity for 105 vehicles. TAV Holding
operates Atatürk Airport in Istanbul, the national and international
terminals in Adnan Menderes Airport of Izmir, airports of Tiflis and
Batum in Georgia and the airports Enfidha Zine Abidine Ben Ali and
Monastir Habib Boruguiba in Tunisia.
